HOW TO SCORE MAXIMUM MARKS WITH VERY LESS EFFORT IN ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Scoring marks in entrance examinations is not a difficult task. It’s very easy to fetch a decent mark which will take you to a decent rank. If you are having only one or two months of time ahead of you, don’t worry; with a little effort you can get the best rank in the stipulated time. You need to follow certain steps. Only a pre-planned studying will take you that level. It’s like this:

1. Find your strong area
The strong area of different students varies very marginally. But, there should be some strong areas for each student. There will be questions from all the topics in entrance examinations. So, if you can give a little more effort in your strong area, it will increase your score and hence will help your rank. After finding out the strong area, revise the section properly and do some objective problems from that topic. Doing objective problem will surely help you in finding some alternatives means for doing the questions and it will also make you familiarize with the questions. 2. Go through the syllabus and find the easiest subjects:

There are some topics which you will feel as difficult one while studying, but when it comes to the entrance examination, they will be the easiest portions to handle. One of such portion is the Modern Chemistry, Modern Physics, Complex members, Differentiation etc. There are lot of such topics and it will vary from one student to other.

Check for the trends in examination paper. There are certain areas in your syllabus which enjoys a greater priority. If you are good in those topics, you will get more questions in the coming examination too. 3. Solve maximum number of previous years question papers.
Solving previous years’ question papers will give you a good relationship with the question pattern. You will get a chance to know where the examination is giving higher importance. Moreover, you will find some short cuts to solve some of the questions. It will also help you to manage your time accordingly. There are lots of cases in which questions are asked from previous years examination papers. So, it will be a good idea to solve some of the previous years’ question papers.

4. Manage Your Time During Examination Time
Like every other areas, time management is of prime importance in entrance examinations too. You will be having only certain hours to apply what you gathered in the last few months or years. And if you fail during that stipulated time, you won’t get the rank which you are capable of. If you are preparing just two or three months before the entrance examination, there’s nothing to worry. Allocate your time in such a way that you will get enough time to solve the questions from your area. Anyway you are not going to solve all the questions, but make sure that the questions solved by you are accurate.

5. Guessing in entrance examination and other ideas
Guessing in entrance examination is not a bad idea when you can eliminate some other options. If there are only two options remaining and which you feel that are the answers for the question, then you can have a wild guess.
Understand the fact that; if your guess is wrong, you will loose 1 mark from the marks you gained. But if it's correct you are getting additional four marks.
So, guessing is good if you are in the safest side, ie you have already answered a good number of questions to get a very good rank in the examination.
